So.. my art has never been on hiatus, I am just completely lazy and don't upload it to DA anymore. Don't have time, don't have the motivation.. I dunno.

But I've moved states and I want to share my new photos with people back home so I'm updating again at the moment.

Gunna delve into people in photography; I'm gunna lug my camera down to uni sometime and take some class comparison shots (>:3 "Bimbos vs Bogans" etc.) and maybe get some interesting pics in my area. There's lots of different "varieties" of people where I live. Lots of weird.

Also lots of "no one gives a toss". My housemate and I walked to the corner store in our pj's on friday night. I was wearing a big white and pink toweling bathrobe. Hot lol! Yep, no one cares. I love this place.

Anyway I've been painting more; bought some boards and gunna spruce up our apartment when I've got some more time.

Oh my god being independent is a lot of work. It's very liberating but it's like.. "I just wanna curl up and scream in a corner" a lot of the time. No time.. when I do have free time I just vegetate in front of the TV cuz I'm like, way too nackered to do anything else.

I've watched a lot of crap since I moved to Sydney.

But I've also grown up a lot. It's been pretty awesome.

Plus you know.. I live in Newtown. Open-minded, arty-ness ahoy!

Whining: Urgh. I think I've never felt as removed from the world, or as stressed and freaked out, as I do now. I hate pressure.. but what is life without a little responsibility and stress? Yeah.. Utopia doesn't appeal to me either.

OK.. now that's over with; I should update on my digi art survey results (got 30 replies! which was awesome as any more would have made things unbearably boring to tally) but yeah, way too busy, just thought I needed to get that thing off my DA page. ((Was some interesting stuff though, for example (of the people I surveyed) 78% use tablets))

I'm making a new DA account soon for all my official-ish things; which is why I haven't paid for this sub in a while. I'll be posting artwork that isn't super old and icky, and some prose from my original fiction stuff. This will coincide with a website I've been planning (and have to create in ooh.. uh.. two weeks till assessment? *cries again*) so I might put up some "world" info -- cultures, creatures; some interesting things I've learnt this year..

I've left that journal entry up for like a year and they hadn't yanked the pictures from when I was a subscriber and had much niftier options with journals.. but they all gone now, so here is a new journal entry

I'd resubscribe, but I think later in the year I might make a different DA account for my fantasy shiz and subscribe on that one. I must apologize to people watching my account for new sketches/photos (which I assume is most of you). I'll probably have a few photos to upload soon-ish, but pretty much all new artworks I do aren't being scanned + posted and when they are up on the internet, they'll be on my (currently WIP) private website.

But I'm actually using DA again which is awesome, cuz I've caught up to date on the gazillions of deviations that I missed in my hiatus, including some very *awesome* Harry Potter 7 art -- you guys are very talented -- and just today I went into a Doctor Who binge and found some awesome DW art too.
